Jun Yeon Won won Glenn F. Knoll Graduate Education Grant from IEEE NPSS with his contribution to FPGA multi-channel time to digital converters and core components of time-of-flight PET scanners and MRI compatible brain PET inserts.

The award recognizes an outstanding graduate student in the field of nuclear science instrumentation, medical instrumentation, or instrumentation for security applications.

Min Sun Lee, our previous member, won Ronald J. Jaszczak Graduate Award with her contribution to a depth-of-interaction detector using triangular reflector arrays, innovative inter-crystal scatter event identification algorithm and fast personal dosimetry technique.

The award recognizes/enables an outstanding graduate student or postdoctoral fellow in the field of nuclear and medical imaging sciences to advance his/her research activities.
