PostDoc 모집 공고(Choi laboratory at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois)
The Choi laboratory at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois is offering several postdoctoral positions. We are leaders at Northwestern in precision immunology, immunology innovation, and the emerging precision immunotherapy center at the Cancer Center. We employ high-dimensional approaches to elucidate the molecular drivers of cancer and autoimmune disease. To learn more about our lab, please visit https://choilaboratory.northwestern.edu.
We are offering three postdoctoral positions.
1) Postdoctoral fellow in Cancer Genomics
-
We are investigating the genetic drivers of T cell cancers using a combination of next generation sequencing, machine learning, and animal models.
-
We have identified mutations in genes in signaling, metabolism, and epigenetics.
-
We have recently published 6 manuscripts in the past year and have one in review at Nature discussing the landscape of oncogenes, the functional validation of novel cancer genes, and the impact of genes on clinical outcomes.
2) Postdoctoral fellow in Synthetic Biology
-
We are generating novel engineering platforms to improve anti-tumor T cells.
-
We have genes that we can overexpress, mutate, and/or underexpress to improve T cell fitness in the tumor microenvironment.
-
These modifications alter T cell receptor signaling, T cell metabolism, and T cell epigenetics to improve anti-tumor T cell therapies.
3) Postdoctoral fellow in Bioinformatics
-
We have >170 TB of clinical and molecular data on ~500 patients which we are using to identify molecular and cellular drivers of disease pathogenesis. In particular, our efforts are designed to identify molecular correlates that predict responses to targeted small molecule or immunotherapies.
