[일반] Postdoctoral positions in learning and memory at University of California, Riverside

2018-12-24l 조회수 2093
Two full-time postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Cho at the University of California, Riverside. Our research program is focused on the neural mechanisms of emotional learning and memory with special interest in synaptic correlates and neural circuitry of fear and anxiety [website]. Projects funded by the NIH will incorporate engram cell labeling, electrophysiological analysis, virus tracing, and optogenetic/chemogenetic control of behaviorally relevant neural circuits in transgenic mouse models. Please, see the following articles recently published in the Cho lab.

We are seeking highly creative and motivated scientists with a Ph.D. in neuroscience, biomedical science or a related field. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in patch-clamp recordings in brain slices. Qualified applicants should have a research background with a record of relevant publications. Please contact Dr. Cho at juncho@ucr.edu and include curriculum vitae.
