Call for Applicants INnovative Life sClence Phd Programme in  South Italy-INCIPIT

A Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action Early Stage Researcher (MSCA-ESR) PhD fellowship of 36 months is available at the Institute of Biostructures and Bioimages of CNR, Catania, Italy for the implementation of the following research project: “Biochemical and biophysical methods addressing protein misfolding/aggregation, amyloid clearance by ubiquitin proteasome pathway, proteases and autophagy”.

Deadline for application is March, 30  2017.

 

The fellowship will start in November 2017.

 

The ESRs will work within the framework of the COFUND project “INCIPIT” granted by the European Union.

 

This network brings together research groups from 1. Second University of Naples Naples, Italy); 2. University of Catania (Catania, Italy); 3. University of Naples Federico II (Naples, Italy); 4. Centro de Investigaciones Biologicas’ (Madrid, Spain); 5. Tel Aviv University (Tel Aviv, Israel); 6. University of Munich (Munich, Germany); 7. The University of Tampere (Tampere, Finland); 8. University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, US); 9. University of Vilnius (Vilnius, Lithuania); 10. University of Wrocław (Wrocław, Poland); 10.University of Zurich (Zurich, Switzerland). , Tel Aviv, Munich, and Zurich interested in many fundamentals and applications of biomolecular sciences.

 

The network is complemented by industrial partners: 1. The candidates can be of any nationality (European or non-European), but at the time of recruitment by the host beneficiary, she/he must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date. Also the candidates should not be already in the possession of a doctorate degree.
