Research Field
Radiopharmaceutical chemistry (production of radioactive isotopes, labeling, analysis, efficacy evaluation)
Nanomedicine (biocompatible nanomaterials, radiolabeled nanopharmaceuticals)

In order to develop radiopharmaceuticals for diagnosis/therapy that can be used in nuclear medicine, we are developing radiopharmaceuticals/nanopharmaceuticals that can target specific disease areas. Currently, the research focus is on developing new medicines that can control the inflammatory response in the human body, and radiopharmaceuticals that can diagnose them are also being developed. In addition, we are developing combination drugs that can increase the effectiveness of immuno-anticancer drugs by targeting and diagnosing the tumor microenvironment and controlling them, and we are also conducting research on new radioactive nanopharmaceuticals capable of diagnostic combination therapy (theranostics).
