Research Field
Our research lab has established various types of 10x platforms (scRNAseq, snRNAseq, scATAC, multiome) for producing and analyzing data in-house. Targeted single cell proteomics (CyTOF) is produced by Mount Sinai HIMC. We have set up the GeoMX spatial transcriptomics platform to produce and analyze a vast amount of data. We actively utilize various domestic and international networks, including dermatology, immunology, and precision omics, to perform various national and private research and development projects. We are particularly interested in immune tolerance phenomena in chronic inflammatory diseases, acute viral infections (COVID19), and tumor immune responses, focusing on regulatory T cells. We also have expertise in transplant immunology, allogeneic transplantation, and CD40-CD40L signaling. Our goal is to develop medical scientists for medical school graduates and independent researchers with expertise in communication with physicians for non-medical school graduates.
